About Ayanna
Hi! I’m Ayanna Johnson (she/her), the AmeriCorps VISTA Stewardship Coordinator for the Homeownership Team at Build WyCo. Originally from Pearl, Mississippi, I’m passionate about serving my community and helping others build a brighter future.
Before joining Build WyCo, I served a 10-month term with AmeriCorps NCCC, traveling across six states and gaining unforgettable experiences along the way. My long-term goal is to open my own homeless shelter and create a safe, supportive space for people in need.
In my free time, you can usually find me drumming, painting, or hanging out with my dog, Jet!
